Collection Centres
Pathology South offers specimen collection services at four convenient locations – Hobart, Glenorchy, Kingston and Rosny.
For most routine tests no appointment is required, if however you are pregnant and require a Glucose Tolerance Test (GTT) please contact us to make an appointment.
Samples collected at home, such as urine, can be taken to any Pathology South collection centre.

Our new location is easily accessible from the Wellington Centre car park (via level 3) and street level access from Argyle Street (take lifts to Level 2). Patient drop off/pick up points are outside the Wellington Clinics in Argyle Street. These are not parking points and drivers must not leave vehicles unattended.

Located on the corner of Main Road and Barry Street, with entrance on Barry Street. Free car parking is available at the back of the centre, off Barry Street. Turn left when you enter the GHC, our suite is the first on the left hand side.
